Chozas Carrascal

Just west of Valencia, you’ll find the sleepy town of San Antonio de Requena. Here, Chozas Carrascal is crafting some of Spain’s finest single estate wine. Such unusual quality, as well as the soil and microclimate, earned Chozas Carrascal the Protected Designation of Origin, “Vino de Pago” in October, 2012.

Led by the López family, Chozas Carrascal’s estate spans more than 99 acres of land where the vines thrive alongside almond and olive trees. Whether it’s harvesting early in the morning to preserve the grapes or fermenting each variety individually in cement tanks, Their commitment to quality and honoring the heritage of land produces wines equal in tradition and modernity.
